It all started when…

My love for zines started in grad school at the University of Hartford in 2016. I was introduced to the New York Art Book Fair and Miss Read Berlin. I learned photobooks didn’t have to be expensive. I appreciated how creative you could be working with a small budget and small book.

Fast forward to July of 2023. I was diagnosed with a chronic illness and it took a couple of years to get back on track with making art. Making zines has helped me express myself and share with others my experience of living with a chronic illness and personal projects I’m interested in making into book form.
